AP EAMCET 2016: Application, Eligibility, Pattern

AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test) 2016 will be conducted by the JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University), Kakinada on the behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). AP EAMCET 2016 will be the gateway to engineering, agriculture and medical courses offered by various colleges in AP state. It is a state level examination and will be held separate to the recently divided Telangana state for the year 2016.

Eligibility

Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. Candidates  should  belong  to  the  state  of  Telangana/Andhra  Pradesh.  The  candidates should  satisfy  local  /  non–local  status requirements  as  laid  down  in  the  Telangana/AndhraPradesh  Education  Institutions  (Regulations  of  Admission)  order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
For B.Tech, Pharmacy and B.Sc:
candidate should have completed or appearing in the class 12th or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The candidates should have appeared or completed the diploma engineering examinations that is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates must have scored at least 45%  (40% in case the candidates belong to reserved category) in PCM (PCB for pharmacy) in class 12th or equivalent exam.
For pharmacy and Science courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit to apply for the examination.
For engineering, candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates.
For MBBS/BDS:
Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.
Candidates should have passed/appearing in the final year of class 12th (intermediate) or equivalent with PCB or Biotechnology and English. The candidates should have scored at least 50% marks in PCB, in case of reserved category the minimum aggregate marks to be scored is 40%.
For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses:
Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of Admissions. There is no upper age limit to appear in this examination. Candidates should have passed/appearing in the final year of class 12th (intermediate) or equivalent with PCB or Biotechnology and English.

Documents to be Need While Application

  • Hall  ticket Number  of  Qualifying  Examination
  • Hall  ticket Number  of  S.S.C. or equivalent
  • Date  of  Birth
  • Caste in case of SC/ST/BC  candidates
  • PH, NCC,  Sports  etc.
  • Income Certificate (One  Lakh  or Up  to Two  Lakhs or More  than  Two  Lakhs)
  • Study or Residence  or relevant certificate  for  proof  of  local status (last 12 years)
  • Choice  of  Help  Line  Center  is for Certificate  Verification  and  options  at the
    time of admission.

Application Form

The AP EAMCET application form will be announced in February 2016 through the official site of the board. There will be only one and online way to apply. The candidates have to fill the personal and other details in application form following with application fee which is Rs. 250/- for engineering and Rs. 250/- for medical and agriculture. Candidates, those will appear the both exam will pay the fee as Rs. 500/-. Fee will be paid through AP Online/TS Online/debit card/credit card. The candidates should keep the xerox copy of filled application form/confirmation page for the further reference.

Admit Card

The AP EAMCET Admit Card 2016 will be available online on the official website of the board on first week of May 2016. candidates can download their admit card by filling their name and date of birth in given tabs. Hall ticket is the mandatory document throughout all the admission process.

Result

AP EAMCET result 2016 will be updates on the official site on first week of June 2016. The rank will be decided and notified on the basis of score obtained by the candidates in their examination.

Counselling

The board will conduct the online counselling procedure which will include the document verification, option entry and seat allotment. The counselling will be started in the third week of June 2016
