Telangana EAMCET or TS EAMCET 2016 is the state level Engineering,
Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Examination conducted by
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, on behalf of
Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission to
various Engineering, Medical and Agricultural courses in the government
and private colleges of Telangana. The Telangana EAMCET has started from
the year 2015 onwards as the separate exam for admission to the above
mentioned courses. Last year thousands of students had appeared in the
TS EAMCET examination, and this year it is also expected that huge
number of students will appear in the examination.

Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / AndhraPradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
The eligibility criteria for For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (DairyTechnology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy,B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses is mentioned below:
candidate should have completed or appearing in the class 12th or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The candidates should have appeared or completed the diploma engineering examinations that is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates must have scored at least 45% (40% in case the candidates belong to reserved category)in PCM in class 12th or equivalent exam.
For pharmacy and Engineering courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31stDecember of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit to apply for the examination.
In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.
For Medical courses like MBBS/BDS, the eligibility criteria is mentioned below:
Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of Admissions.
Candidates should have passed/appearing in the final year of class 12th (intermediate) or equivalent with PCB or Biotechnology and English.
The candidates should have scored at least 50% marks in PCB, in case of reserved category the minimum aggregate marks to be scored is 40%.
For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses:
Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of Admissions. There is no upper age limit to appear in this examination.
Candidates should have passed/appearing in the final year of class 12th (intermediate) or equivalent with PCB or Biotechnology and English.

Application Form
The candidates who are waiting for the TS EAMCET application form 2016, can get their application form through the online mode, by visiting the official website of TS EAMCET. The application forms are available in the last week of February, 2016 and the last date for filling the application form will be in the 2nd week of April. The candidates can fill their application form and after filling all their details move to the fees payment. The candidates can pay their fees by using credit/debit card or they can also pay their fees through bank challan. The application form fees is Rs. 250/- for engineering applications and Rs. 250/- for agriculture and medical applications. The candidates who wants to appear in all examinations, have to pay application fees of Rs. 500/- for engineering, agriculture and medical examinations. The candidates can also pay their fees by AP Online Centers/ Mee Seva centres/e-seva centers in Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.The candidates must note that the application forms are invited only through the online mode.
