CG PET 2016: Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern

CG PET 2016 also known as Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test is the state level engineering entrance exam of Chhattisgarh state. CG PET is conducted by directorate of technical education, Chhattisgarh for admission to the government and private engineering colleges of the Chhattisgarh state. Application Form

The candidates who are waiting for the CG PET application form 2016 for the session 2016 are informed that the application form will be announced in the month of March, 2016.  The candidates can fill their application through the online mode by visiting the official website of the CG PET. The last date for filling the online application form will be in the 3rd week of March, 2016.  After filling all the details in the application form, candidates can move towards the fees payment, candidates can pay their fees either through online mode by using their debit/credit card or they can also pay their fees by net banking option.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates appearing for the CG PET exam 2016, must check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam. The details of the eligibility criteria is mentioned below:
The candidate appearing in the exam must be 17 yrs of age on or before 31 December 2016, the upper age limit is not more than 25 yrs on or before 1^st July 2016.
The candidates should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board or university. Those candidates who are appearing for the 10+2 examination in 2016 are also eligible to apply.
The candidates must have studied Physics, Math’s and Chemistry/Biology at 10+2 level.
The candidates must be holding the domicile of Chhattisgarh or must have studies 10^th and 12^th from schools or colleges located at Chhattisgarh.
The candidates must have passed with 50% marks in class 12th or equivalent or 40% in case the candidates belong to the reserved category.

Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the CG PET exam must understand the paper pattern, so that they can get a rough idea about the exam. The exam pattern contain the details like marking scheme, no. of questions, total time etc. The paper pattern is mentioned below.
 Paper Type: Objective with Multiple choice question.
No. of Questions: 150
Time duration: 3 hours
No. of Sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

Admit Card

The CG PET 2016 admit card will be available to the candidates in the month of April, 2016. The candidates can download their admit card from the official website or students can also get their admit card from this page.
