UP Polytechnic (JEECUP 2016): Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern

UP Polytechnic also known as JEECUP 2016 is a state level entrance exam conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE) for admission to various polytechnic courses in the government and private polytechnic institutes and colleges of Uttar Pradesh (UP). The UP Polytechnic examination also known as Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) is one of the popular exam for the students who want to pursue polytechnic in various disciplines from the colleges located in Uttar Pradesh. Here in this article we will provide all the details regarding JEECUP Application form, exam date, paper pattern etc.

Application Form

The JEECUP 2016 application form will be available to the candidates from the 1st week of February, 2016. The candidates have to fill their application form through the online mode from the official website of JEECUP.  The candidates have to visit the official website and enter all the details in the application, after that candidates have to upload their photograph and signature as per the specified formats. After entering all the details candidates have to move towards fees payment, candidates can pay their fees by using debit/credit card or net banking or the fees can also be paid through bank challan through any branches of SBI and Allahabad bank.

Important Dates

  • Online registration begins: 1st week of Feb 2016
  • Last date of online registration: 2nd week of March 2016
  •  JEECUP admit card 2016 declaration date: April 2016
  • UP Polytechnic 2015 (JEECUP 2015) exam date: May 2016
  • UP polytechnic result: last week of May, 2016
  • JEECUP counselling date: June, 2016

Eligibility Criteria

Those candidates who are eagerly waiting for the JEECUP 2016, must check the eligibility criteria, so that they should be aware of whether they are eligible for the exam or not. The eligibility criteria is mentioned in details below.
The candidates belonging to the UP are eligible to apply for 85% seats in various government and private colleges of UP.
The candidates applying for the exam should have passed or appearing in class 10th, or 12th or equivalent are eligible to apply. The candidate should have passed qualifying examination from any recognized board or university.
The candidates should be having domicile of UP, in order to appear for the examination.

Exam Pattern

The candidates applying for the JEECUP exam, must check the exam pattern so that they can be aware of the exam pattern and perform well in the examination. The JEECUP exam pattern will be updated soon.

Admit Card

The JEECUP Admit Card 2016 will be announced in the month of April, 2016. The candidates can download their admit card from the JEECUP website or they can also download it from our website. The admit card contains the details like roll no., centre of the examination and other important detail.
The candidate must note that, it is compulsory to bring the admit card to the examination hall.

Result

The UP Polytechnic result 2016 will be declared to the candidates in the last week of May, 2016. The candidate can check their result from official website of JEECUP. All the details regarding the result will be updated here in this page.

Counselling

The candidates who have qualified the JEECUP exam will be called for JEECUP counselling 2016, the counselling schedule will begin from 1st week of June, 2016. The counselling process comprises of document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted colleges.
