MP PPT 2016: Application, Eligibility

MP PPT (Madhya Pradesh Pre Polytechnic Test) 2016 will be conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB), Government of Madhya Pradesh. The board is also known as Vyapam. This examination is a gateway to various polytechnic diploma courses offered by the institutions of Madhya Pradesh state.

Application Form

The application form can be obtained through the official site of vyapam from 2nd week of April to 2nd week of May 2016 via online registration only. Candidates have to fill the online application form and submit the application fee as Rs. 400/- for general candidates and Rs. 200/- for reserved categories through the online banking or debit/credit card. Candidates can also remit the application fee through kiosk portal of vyapam. The additional charge is Rs. 70/- as online application charge. Application form should be submitted online and candidates should save the application number and print out of filled form for further use.

Eligibility

The candidates should be a citizen of India and belonging to the Madhya Pradesh state. The candidates should be passed or appeared the 10th class from the recognized board with math, physics and chemistry with minimum 35% marks. 30% weight of 10th marks and 70% of PPT exam marks will be considered for admission. Candidates should have a domicile certificate of MP government.

Exam Pattern

The examination will be held in the third week of June 2016 and there will be one paper in Hindi and English language. The exam will be of 3 hour duration. All questions will be given four answer options. The paper will comprise in 150 questions and 1 mark will be awarded to each correct answer. There is no negative marking. The answer would be marked on OMR answer sheet using with black ball point pen.

Admit Card

Admit card for MP PPT 2016 would be obtained by the candidates through the official site of Vyapam on first week of June 2016 by entering their application number and name. MP PPT Admit Card 2016 will be carried to the examination centre along with the photo ID identically uploaded during the application process.

Result

Result will be announced during the second week of July 2016 by the Vyapam board on its official website. Result will be published followed by the rank list which will be considered for the counselling procedure.

Counselling

The counselling will be done in July month by offline mode. The counselling procedure will include in verification of documents, option entry and seat allotment. The counselling will be done on the basis of the rank list calculated by the 30:70 ratio of high school and PPT marks obtained by the candidates.
