Lovely professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test (LPU NEST 2016) is engineering cum scholarship entrance exam conducted by the Lovely professional University (LPU) for admission to its engineering programmes offered by the university. The university also provides scholarships to the meritorious students through LPU NEST exam. The LUP NEST is given by thousands of students for taking admission to more than 10 engineering disciplines. The candidates interested in online application can apply through the official website of LPU. The application form will start from 15th September 2015. The candidates have to visit the official website and register themselves by entering their name, mail id and mobile no. No go to the login section and login their by using the application no. that has been sent to your mail id. Enter all your details and verify them, select test centre carefully as it won’t be changed after that. Now proceed towards the fees payment, the application fees for LPU NEST is Rs 300 and can be paid through net banking or credit/debit card.
The candidates are advised to take the printout of the completely filled application form for the future references.
The candidates can also pay the fees through DD, in this case candidates have to take the printout of the filled application form and attach their recent photograph and signature in the specified formats and then submit the form along with the DD to the address mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the LPU NEST exam 2016. The eligibility criteria are given below:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• The candidate appearing for the LPU NEST 2016 exam must have either passed/appearing in class 12th from a recognized board of school education.
• For Engineering (B.Tech) Admission 2016
• The students must have secured 70% aggregate in 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English.
• or
• The candidates should have scored 60% aggregate marks with Physics, Mathematics and English and valid score in LPU NEST 2016 or JEE Main 2016.
• For admission to B.Tech Biotechnology (BT), and B.Tech – BT (Food Process Engineering) the candidates must have studied Physics, English and Mathematics and/Biology/Biotech in class 12th or qualifying examination.

Exam Pattern

The LPU NEST 2016 will be a computer based test, in which there will be four responses for every question, the candidates have to select the most appropriate option. Candidates will be awarded four marks for correct answer and no marks will be deducted for incorrect response.

Admit Card and Result
