PESSAT 2016: Application Form, Exam Pattern, Dates

PESSAT 2016 is a well-known entrance exam conducted by PES University for the admissions into various undergraduates and post graduates Courses. PES University Application Form 2016

The application for is available and online registration process has been started for this exam. Candidates may check the Application Procedure here.
PESSAT 2016 application form will be available on the official website of the university. It will be available from 1st October 2015 till last week of April 2016. First of all, candidates have to register themselves in PSSAT 2016 and then proceed further. The registration process is very simple. Go to the link of online registration in PSSAT 2016, open the registration form, and fill up the further details regarding your personal and educational details, upload your recent colored photograph in prescribed size. For the payment of fees you can choose between online as well as offline mode which suits you. The examination fee is Rs 975/-. Online payment will be done through debit card/credit card or net banking. The online mode includes read the instructions, I agree, choose the payment mode online and choose the payment by using debit card/debit card/net banking. Fill the card details and click on make payment button, after few minutes you will get the receipt of the fees with entire application form. Offline users could pay their fees through demand draft at any nationalized bank of India. After getting the payment receipt, go to registration link and open the application form, fill the payment details correctly and click on submit button. Take out the print of the application form and keep it with you for further assistance.

PESSAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for appearing in this exam have been given below:

• Applicants who want to appear in this exam must be an Indian citizen.
• Age range for this exam is between 17 to 25 years.
• The general category applicants should have got a minimum of 60% in their 12^th
• The reserve category applicants should have got 50% in 12^th.
• For BTech courses, the applicants should have at least 60% in physics, chemistry and maths in 12^th.
• For all other courses eligibility criteria are different as per the University norms.
• Candidates who are appearing in 12^th could also give the exam.

PESSAT 2016 Exam Important Dates

PESSAT 2016 Exam Pattern

PESSAT 2016 exam will be held only in online mode. No other mode will be provided by the PES University. The paper includes 4 subjects i.e. mathematics, physics, chemistry and English in sequential order. Mathematics and physics consists of 60 questions each while chemistry consists of 40 questions and English consists of 20 questions. These will be of objective nature and there will no deduction of marks in giving wrong answers. Time duration of the exam is 3 hours i.e. 180 minutes. The entire syllabus of PESSAT 2016 will be based on 11^th and 12^th standard of CBSE board.

Admit Card

You can download the PESSAT admit card 2016 from last week of April 2016 for BTech entrance exam while the admit card of exam other than BTech could be downloaded from last week of January 2016. The processes of downloading of admit card is very simple. You can simply go to the official website of PES University and open the PESSAT 2016 tab. Then open the admit card link and put your name and registration number on it. Admit card will be appeared in the screen. After that take the print out of the admit card.

Result

The PESSAT result 2016 will be announced after one week of the exam at university’s website. You will get your combined as well as individual subject’s score so that it will help in future for the counseling session.

Counseling Schedule

First round of counseling of PESSAT 2016 will be held in June 2016 and second round of counseling will be held in July 2016. You have to bring your PESSAT 2016 score card and all the necessary documents related to your education in the counseling with passport size photographs.
