CG PPT 2016: Application, Eligibility

CG PPT (Chhattisgarh Pre Polytechnic Test) 2016 will be conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB), which regulates the entire procedure of CGPPT throughout the seat allotment. The examination will be held for the admission to various government and private polytechnic institutions across the state which are offering the polytechnic diploma courses in engineering and technology.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria is as the following:

• The candidates should belong to the Chhattisgarh state with having a valid domicile certificate.
• The candidates must not exceed the age of 30 years as on or before 1st July 2016.
• The general candidates should have minimum 35% marks in qualifying examination, however there no specific criteria of minimum marks for reserved category.
• The candidates should be passed the 10th/high school/matriculation from state board or any other government recognized board of India.
• The candidates must have science and math in qualifying exam and should be passed separately in both subjects.

Application Form

CG PPT 2016 application form will be available in third week of March 2016 on the official site of Vyapam. Candidates can get the application form by registering themselves on the official portal of CG PPT examination. There will be only online mode for apply the examination. Candidates should fill the application form with care and submit that also via online only. Candidates should secure the 12 digit registration number for further reference. The application form for this examination is Rs. 300/- for general or Rs. 250/- for OBCs or Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidates. The application fee should be remitted through the online banking/debit/credit card.

Important Dates

• Availability of Online Application Form – third week of March 2016
• Availability of Admit Card – last week of April 2016
• Exam Dates – second week of May 2016
• Availability of Result – first week of June 2016
• Counselling Schedule – last week of June 2016

Exam Pattern

The examination will be held in the second week of May 2016. There will be two language as Hindi and English as the medium of examination. the question paper will comprise in 200 multiple answer type questions and each correct answer will carry one mark only. There is no provision for any negative marking. The exam will be of 3 hour duration. The questions will be taken from the syllabus of 10th standard.

Admit Card

Around 15 days before the commencement of the examination, the CG PPT Admit Card 2016 will be issued by the official site of the board and students will be suggested to download their admit card before the examination because this will be a very important document for access the examination hall.

Result

The result will be declared in the month of June 2016 by the officials. The link for accessing the result will be updated on official site on the prescribed date of result given by the board.
