Kerala Polytechnic 2016: Application, Eligibility, Exam Date

Kerala Polytechnic 2016 is the state level entrance test conducted by department of technical education, Kerala (DTE). The exam is conducted by the DTE for admission into various polytechnic courses like Diploma in Engineering/technology and diploma in commercial practice/management. The admission is based on rank scored by the candidates and done in government and private polytechnic institutes of the Kerala state. The Kerala polytechnic exam is given by thousands of students who want to pursue polytechnic courses in the government and private polytechnic institution of Kerala. Application Form

The candidates interested in Kerala Polytechnic application form can fill the form, from the last week of May, 2016. The application forms will be invited online and the candidates have to submit their form through online mode, last date of filling of form will be in the month of June, 2016. The can have to enter all their details in the application form and then finally proceed towards the fees payment. The admission to the  polytechnic courses will be based on the board percentage of the students, the merit list of the candidates will be prepared and then rank will be allotted to the  students as per their merit.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should be an Indian Cititzen
The candidates criteria for the Kerala polytechnic are mentioned below:
The candidate should have completed his 12th or intermediate from a recognized board.
The candidate should belong to Kerala, or having a valid domicile of Kerala, or the parents of student should be a permanent employee in central/state/quasi government or public sector undertaking in Kerala state.
Candidates who have passed SSLC/THSLC with Maths, Science and English  are eligible for both Engineering/technology and commercial practice/management courses.
On the other hand those candidates having Maths and English in the qualifying exams are eligible only for stream II (commercial practice/management).

Result

The result of Kerala Polytechnic 2016 will be declared in the official website, the result will be declared in the 2nd week of June 2016. The successful candidates will be called for counselling, which is scheduled to start in the last week of June 2015.
