BVP CET 2016: Application, Exam Pattern, Eligibility

BVP CET ( Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Common Entrance Test) is the gateway for those aspiring students who wants to take admission in the colleges affiliated with the BVP university, Pune. BVP CET is one of the famous national entrance test for the undergraduate level professional courses in the areas of engineering, medical, etc. Every year thousands of candidates will appear in the exam for the 690 undergraduate seats of the University and the exams will be conducted in many test centres across the country.

Application Form

Interested candidates who want to apply for the BVP CET 2016 application form are advised to fill the form before the last date of the application form submission. Both offline and online lines are opened for this entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the BVP CET 2016 application form, candidates are suggested to go through the following eligibility criteria described below:

• Applying candidates must have passed the 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% marks for unreserved category (40% for the reserved category candidates).
• It is mandatory for the candidates having physics and mathematics with biology/chemistry/biotechnology (optional) in 12^th

Application Fee

The requisite application fee for BVP CET 2016 application form will be Rs. 1500/- for all the category candidates. Aspirants can pay the application fee either through online payment gateway (credit/debit card) or through the demand draft of above mentioned fee drawn in the favour of Registrar, Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University, payable at Pune.
To appear in the BVP CET entrance exam, candidates can avail the application form either from the official website of the University or from the University office against the draft of Rs. 1500/-.

Exam Pattern

There are total 200 objective type questions of 1 mark each from the subject Physics and Mathematics. The question paper comprises of 100 questions from Physics and next 100 questions from Mathematic. It is required for the students to complete the BVP CET 2016 exam within 3 hours. Good news for the candidates that there will be no negative marking in the exam so attempt as many questions as possible.

Important Dates

• Last date of the application form submission: in the month of May, 2016
• Publication of Admit Card: during the month of April,2016
• Date of Examination: in the mid May, 2016
• Result will be declared : in the end of May, 2016
• Counselling starts from: the month of June, 2016
• New Batch commences from: July, 2016

Note: This is informed to the candidates that all the dates are tentative, no notification for BVP CET 2016 entrance examination will be issued, as any updates from the University will receive, it will instantly publish in this article.

Admit Card

All the students who are applied for the BVP CET entrance exam are informed that the BVP CET admit card 2016 will be released in the month of April, 2016. The admit cards are sent to the candidates via post, in case the applicant will not receive it before the date of the examination, then it will be advised to the candidates to download it from the authorized site of the University.

Result

The BVP CET result 2016 will be announced in the month of May, 2016. Candidates can check the result from the official portal of the University by providing the course for which he/she is applied and roll number.
