VITMEE 2016: Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern

(VITMEE 2016) VIT University Masters entrance examination (VITMEE) is the university level entrance exam conducted by VIT University, Vellore. The VITMEE exam is conducted for admission to its PG courses that includes Master of computer application (MCA) and Master of technology (M.Tech). The university admits students for the above mentioned courses in its Vellore and Chennai campus. The VITMEE exam is given by thousands of students, and it is therefore an important exam for the students who want to pursue their higher education (M.tech or MCA) in the Vellore University.
Here we will provide you all the details regarding VITMEE which includes application form, exam pattern, eligibility criteria and all other details.

Application Form

The VITMEE application form 2016 will be available to the students in the month of February 2016. Candidates can get their application form through online by visiting the official website of the VIT University. The last of filling the application form will be in the month of March/April. The candidates have to apply online and enter their details, upload the photograph and signature in the specified format and then proceed towards fees payment.
The application fee of Rs.950 is to be paid by the candidate, by using either online mode (net banking or credit card) or offline by using bank DD.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates appearing for the VITMEE 201 must check all the eligibility conditions as mentioned below:

• Candidates must be Indian residents or NRI/PRI.
• The candidate appearing for VITMEE 2016 must be 20 yrs of age.
• Candidates must have passed/appearing in the qualifying UG programme with a min. aggregate of 50% for M.tech programs and 60% for MCA course.
• The final year students must deposit their final year mark sheet and provisional degree certificate to the university at the time of Admission process.

• Start of online application: 3rd week of February 2016
• Last date of applying online: last week of March 2016
• Download of Admit Card: May 2016
• Result Announcement Date: To be declared later

Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing for the exam, must check the exam pattern  of VITMEE, so that they can get the basic idea about the examination. The exam pattern is mentioned below:

• The paper will consist of 110 question, with the total of 100 marks.
• The paper will be computer based test (CBT), the questions will be English mode only.
• The time duration for the paper will be 2 hours and there will be no negative marking in the exam.

Admit Card

The VITMEE admit card 2016 will be declared by the university in the last week of May. The Candidates can download their admit card from the official website, or they can also check it from our website.

Result

The VITMEE 2016 result will be declared by the university in the month of June, candidates are informed that all the information regarding result will be update here in this page.
