JMI EEE 2016: Application Form, Eligibility

MI EEE (Jamia Milia Islamia Engineering Entrance Examination) is a university level examination conducted by the Jamia Milia Islamia University for the admission to various engineering disciplines under the domain as B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology). The university is referred as a deemed university and around 35 thousand candidates are appearing the examination every year for engineering courses. The examination will be held in the month of June 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

• The aspirant must qualify the 12^th class or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• The candidate having 3 or 4 year diploma in engineering approved by AICTE or state board of technical education may also apply.
• Candidates must have mathematics, physics and chemistry as the mandatory subjects.
• Candidates should have 55% marks in their qualifying examination.
• Candidates should not be less than the age of 17 years as on 1^st October 2016.

Application Form

The JMI EEE application form 2016 will be available online only on the official site of the university. The applicant may get the application form from the official site and fill that correctly. The candidates will have to pay the application fee as Rs. 700/- through the Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or through E-Challan. The application form will be available from second week of April 2016 to first week of May 2016. The filled application form would be submitted via online only.

Important Dates

The tentative dates are as the following for the examination year 2016:

• Availability of online application form – second week of April 2016
• Closed date of online application form – first week of May 2016
• Availability of admit card for downloading – third week of May 2016
• Examination date – last week of June 2016
• Date of declaring the result – second week of July 2016
• Counselling procedure – last week of July 2016

Exam pattern

The examination will be conducted in various cities across the country. The examination will be asked in one paper only that will be comprised in 170 multiple answer type questions having four suggestive answers. The paper will consist of three subjects as physics, chemistry and mathematics. 60 questions will be from mathematics and 55 questions will be from physics and chemistry each. The duration of examination will be of 3 hours.

JMI EEE 2016 admit card

The JMI EEE admit card 2016 will be available after the closing date of online application form. The admit card will be generated via online only through the official site of the university. The admit card will contain the roll number, examination centre, examination time, examination date and other personal details, admit card is mandatory to carry to the examination hall. No other mode except the online will be entertained to communicate regarding the admit card.

JMI EEE result date

The JMI EEE result 2016 will be available online on the official site of the university in second week of July 2016. The candidates appeared for the examination will get the result on prescribed time and date which will be announced by the board on later.
