WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) 2016 will be held as a
state level entrance exam for the admission to various UG courses
offered by the colleges limit in West Bengal state. The examination will
be conducted by the WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination
Board). This exam will be a gateway for the medical, engineering,
architectural, technological and pharmaceutical courses through
government and private colleges across the state.

Eligibility
The eligibility Criteria is as the following:- The application must be Indian citizen.
- The applicant should have domicile of West Bengal.
- The application should have passed or appeared the 10+2 examination from state or central board of education.
- The candidates must be obtained minimum 45% marks (40% in case of reserved categories) in 12th examination.
- For admission to Jadhavpur University, candidates must have minimum 60% marks (55% in case of reserved categories) in 12th examination.
- The candidates should have physics, chemistry and math/biology/biotechnology in 12th examination.
- The candidates should be completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2016.
- For mining engineering, candidates should not exceed the age of 25 years on or before 31st of July 2016.
Application Form
The application form will be available on the official portal of the board on the prescribed date given by board later. The candidates will have to navigate the proper link for WBJEE 2016 application form and fill the required details. After filling the application details one should remit the application fee via online through net banking or debit/credit card or e-challan. The prescribed application fee for WBJEE will be Rs. 500/- (for engineering/technology/architecture) or Rs. 500/- (for medical/dental/pharmacy) or Rs. 600/- (for engineering/technology/architecture/medical/dental/pharmacy). After filling the form and remitting the application fee, a 7 digit number will be displayed which will be saved by applicants for further communication. Candidates should keep the xerox copy of confirmation page for further use. Pattern
