UPMT 2016 or Uttarakhand Pre medical test is the state level medical
entrance exam conducted by H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical education
university (HNBUMU). The UPMT exam is conducted for admission to the
MBBS, BDS courses in the top government and private medical college of
Uttarakhand state. The UPMT exam is one of the most important exam for
the students who want to pursue their medical studies after their 12th
or school education. Every year thousands of students appear in the UPMT
exam so as to get admission in the medicals seats of government and
private colleges. Here in this article we will provide all the details
to the students regarding application form, exam date, and how to fill
the application form.
The paper comprises of three sections from Physics, Chemistry and Maths having 50 question from each section. The duration of the exam will be 3 hours and the question will be of MCQ type.
The candidate must note that the admission will based on merit and as per the rank scored by the candidate in the UPMT 2016.
Application Form
The candidates who are waiting for the UPMT 2016 application form are informed that the application form will be announced in the month of March, 2016. Eligibility Criteria
The candidates appearing for the UPMT 2016, are advised to check the eligibility criteria, the eligibility criteria is mentioned in details below:- The candidate appearing for the exam must be a citizen of India.
- The minimum age criteria is 17 yrs as on or before 31.12.2016 and on and before of taking admission in the respective college. The maximum age criteria is 25 yrs as on 31.12.2016, there will be relaxation of 5 yrs in the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
- The candidates must have passed/appearing in class 12th (Physics, Chemistry and biology) with minimum 50% for general category candidates and 40 % for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category.
- Those candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination or class 12th in the year 2016 are also eligible for UPMT 2016
- The candidates must be havingUttarakhand domicile or he/she must have completed his 10th and class 12th from Uttarakhand.
