The IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) is an entrance exam
for the admission to the various management programmes offered by the
all India’s ICFAI Business Schools and the ICFAI University. The
examination is popularly known as the ICFAI Aptitude Test. The IBSAT
2016 will be conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education,
Hyderabad. It is a national level post-graduate examination.
Eligibility Criteria
To appear the IBSAT, the candidates should satisfy the following eligibility criteria:
- The
candidates must be passed the graduation in any discipline with English
medium from the recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates those did not have the English medium at graduation level; have to submit the TOEFL/IELTS/NELT score by 31st May 2016.
- The candidates should have completed the 15 years (10+2+3 pattern) of regular education.
- The candidates having the part-time or correspondence or online degree are not eligible to apply.
- The candidates appearing for the final year examination may also apply for the IBSAT.
- Appearing candidates must have passed the degree as per eligibility norm before 31st May 2016 and submit the required documents before 1st October 2016.
IBSAT 2016 Application Form
The IBSAT Registration 2016
will be available tentatively in the third week of July 2015. The
application form can be obtained through the online and offline also.
Through the offline mode the student may get the offline application
form through the designated centres of the ICFAI schools against the
application fee as Rs.1600/-. Through the online mode the applicant can
obtain the application form through the official website of the ICFAI
Business School or the IBSAT 2016 official website. The application form
will be available till the first week of December 2015. The candidates
are suggested to fill the application form carefully with the all
required personal and academic details.
Selection Procedure
The
selection will be made on the basis of the rank and score obtained by
the candidates in the IBSAT 2016 examination which will be held
tentatively from the Second week of December 2015 to end of December
2015 as the online examination. The score of the GMAT and CAT will also
be considered for the selection procedure.
Exam Pattern
The
examination will comprise in 120 multiple type questions of 120 marks
with 5 eventual answers. Each correct answer will carry one mark and
there is no negative marking for the wrong answer. The duration of the
exam will be 2 hour. The questions will be asked in English language
only. The question paper will consist of four sections as per the given
criteria:

Important Dates
All the dates for the IBSAT 2016 are tentative now. The students are advised to consider the same just for the reference.

Admit Card
The IBSAT admit card 2016
can be obtained via online (through the website) or the offline (via
post). Once the application process would have been completed
successfully, the university will issue the admit card to all registered
candidates.
Results
The IBSAT result 2016
will be declared tentatively in the second week of January 2016. The
students are suggested to stay with us or the official site on time of
the declaration of the result. The university will declare the name of
only selected candidates for the further admission process.
