HP PAT 2016: Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern

Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic entrance test (HP PAT 2016) is the state level polytechnic entrance examination of Himachal Pradesh. The HP PAT exam is conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical Education Board (HPTEB), Dharamshala for screening candidates for their admission to various government and private polytechnic institutes located in Himachal Pradesh (HP). Every year thousands of students appear for HP PAT exam for taking admission in various polytechnic courses. Application Form

The candidates who are interested in the HP polytechnic application form, can get the application form from the official website of the board or the students can also get that from any government polytechnic institution. The application form will be available to the candidates from the 1st week of April and the last date for filling the application form will be in the last week of April 2016. The candidates have to pay the application fees of Rs.650 for general and OBC candidates, and Rs400 for the candidates belonging to SC/ST. The candidates can also receive the application form through post by paying a DD of the application fees along with Rs 50 as postal charges.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria criteria of HP PAT is mentioned below:
The candidate should have passed class 10th or equivalent with a minimum of 35% marks, having science, English and Maths.
The candidate should belong to Himachal Pradesh, or should have completed his education up to 10th class in HP.
Those candidates who are appearing in class 10th or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

Important Dates

• Application form starts – last week of March
• Last date of the submission of application form is – last week of April 2016
  
• Date of the commencement of the entrance examination is – 3rd week of may 2016
  
• Date of result – last week of May 2016

The HP PAT Admit Card 2016 will be available to the candidates in the official website, the candidates can also check their admit card from our website.

Result

The result of the HP polytechnic will be announced in the month of May 2016. Those candidates who will qualify in the exam will be called for counselling, which is scheduled to begin from third week of June 2016.
