Assam CEE 2016 is a joint entrance exam conducted by Dibrugarh
University for admission into Engineering and Medical courses of the
colleges situated in the Assam state. Assam CEE is one of the important
exams for the students of Assam who wish to pursue medical and
engineering courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, B.tech in the government and
private college of Assam. The exam is conducted every year in the month
of May and the notification for the same is announced in the month of
April. Here in this article we will provide all the details like
application form, exam pattern, result and counselling dates.
The candidates must have a domicile of Assam.
The candidate appearing for the exam must be in the age limit of 17 to 21 years of age as on August 1, 2016. Their is the provision of relaxation up to 3 years in upper age limit is provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
The candidates appearing in the exam must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with an aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Maths. The candidates belonging to reserved category the minimum percentage criteria is 45%.

Time Duration: 2 hours

The candidates should note that there are two Courses. Course option 1 and Course option 2, those candidates who are interested in MBBS/BDS are needed to appear in the course option 1 which includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates interested in Engineering courses must appear in course option 2 which include Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The candidates applying for the MBBS/BDS and engineering courses must appear in course option 3 which include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths.
Application Form
The application form of Assam CEE 2016 will be announced in the month of April, 2016. The candidate can submit their application form through the online mode and from the official website of the university. The candidates have to pay the application fees through either online mode by using debit/credit card or net banking or the fees can also be paid through SBI challan.
