Bihar Polytechnic 2016 also known as DCECE exam is the state level
entrance exam conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive
Examination Board (BCECEB). The exam is conducted for admission to
various polytechnic courses in government and private polytechnic
institutes of the state. Every year thousands of students appear for
Bihar polytechnic exam for admission in Para medical (PM), Para Medical
Dental (PMD), part-time polytechnic engineering (PPE) polytechnic
engineering (PE), polytechnic non-engineering (PNE). Here in this page

For PE courses the candidate should have completed 10th with minimum 35%.
For PM courses the minimum age on 31st December 2016, should be 17 years to 35 years, and for GNM and 17 years as the minimum for ANM course.
For PPE courses the minimum age of the candidates as on 1/72015 should be 19 years.
The total no. of question would be 90, with each question carrying 5 marks. The time duration of the exam would be 2 hour and 15 min.

Application Form
The candidate who are interested in Bihar Polytechnic 2016 can get the application form through the online mode from the official website of the board. The candidates are informed that the application forms will be available in the month of March 2016 (last week). The last date of applying the application form will be in the month of April, 2016. After filling all the details in the application form candidates have to pay their application fees either through online mode (credit/debit card) or offline (bank Challan). The application fees for different category are given below:- For 1 group: 550/- Rs. (330/- for SC/ST)
- For 2 group: 660/- Rs. (385/- for SC/ST)
- For 3 group: 770/- Rs. (440/- for SC/ST)
