Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) or IISER
exam2016 is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of
Science Education and Research for admission to Integrated BS – MS dual
degree programme offered by the of science and research in the 6 IISER
institutes located in India. The exam is held every year in the month of
July and the application for the IISER entrance exam are available from
June to July. Here in this article we have provided all the details on
IISER entrance exam, exam patter and eligibility criteria for IISER.
The candidates will be admitted to the dual BS –MS degree programme for the total of 950 seats offered by all IISER is based on the following:
Rank scored by the candidate in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY).
Through State and Central boards
The candidates will also have to qualify IISER entrance exam.
The exam will have MCQ type question from Physics, Chemistry, Math’s and Biology. Candidates have to choose one correct answer from the given four alternatives.

Time Duration: 180 min.
Application Form
The IISER application form 2016 will be available only through the online mode and can be filled from the official website of IISER from 1st week of June. The candidates have to fill the form by entering their basic details and upload recent photograph and signatures in the format specified. The last step is to pay the application fees. The application fees for the IISER application form is Rs. 1500/- (and Rs.750 for the students belonging to SC/ST category.Eligibility Criteria
