SRMJEEE 2016: Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Pattern

SRM University engineering entrance exam SRMEEE 2016 also known as SRMJEE is an entrance exam conducted by the SRM University for admission to the under graduate engineering courses offered by the university. The SRMEEE is conducted by the SRM University for admission to various engineering (B.Tech) programmed offered by the university for the academic session starting from 2016. The SRMEEE 2016 exam will be conducted from 16th April to 25th April 2016. Here in this article we will provide all the details regarding SRMEEE 2016 that includes SRMEE application form, Exam patter and eligibility criteria of the exam.

SRM University Admission

The SRM University joint entrance exam (SRMJEEE) is given by thousands of students for admission to the engineering courses offered by the university. The admission for the SRJMEEE 2016 will be done through merit basis as per the students rank in the SRMEEE 2016. The rank liswt will be announced on 4th May 2016. The SRM University admits the students in its three campuses located in Tamil Nadu, Sikkim and Delhi NCR. All the information regarding result will be updated here in this page.

Application Form

The candidates are informed that the SRMJEEE 2016 application form has been available and last date of online application is 15th March 2016. The application form is available through online mode from the official website of the SRM University. Candidates also have the option to fill the form through offline mode i.e. by purchasing the form along with the information bulletin from various designated centres. The slot for examination can be booked between 26th to 30th March 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates applying for the SRJMEEE 2016 must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exams. The eligibility criteria are mentioned in details below:
The candidates must be an Indian Citizen.
The candidates should have passed the 10+2 or its equal exam from the recognized schools having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in their 12^th.
The candidates must have obtained a minimum of 70% marks in qualifying exam.
The candidates of PCM group will be eligible for the all disciplines of B.Tech programme.
The candidates of PCB group will be eligible for the Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical, Genetic Engineering and various Health Science programmes.

How to Apply

The candidates can apply either by online mode or through offline mode. In online mode of application candidates have to fill the form online from the university website, the details of online application process are discussed below:

• Visit official website and register yourself
• You have to enter your details like name, address, educational qualification etc
• Verify all the details and proceed to uploading of photograph and signature
• Upload latest photograph and signature in the format specified
• Proceed towards fees payment
• Pay fees either by DD or online by using Credit/debit card or net banking

The students can also apply offline by purchasing the application form along with the information bulletin from various designated centers. The candidates also download the filled application form and then pay the fees of Rs 900/- through DD (in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai.) and send it to the University address.

Exam Pattern

The candidates appearing in the SRMEEE 2016 should be aware of exam pattern the exam pattern is discussed below:
The paper will of Objective type questions asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics asked from the syllabus of class 11^th and 12^th. The question will be asked in English only and there will be negative marking in the question paper i.e. 1 marks will be deducted for wrong answer in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics and 0.7 marks in Physics.

 Hall Ticket and Result

The SRMJEEE hall ticket 2016 will be available in the month of April, 2016. Candidates can check their hall ticket through our website, or they can also visit the official website for downloading the hall ticket. The SRMJEEE result 2016 will be declared by the university on 4th May 2016. The candidates will be called for the counseling as per their rank in SRMEEE 2016.
