IGNOU OPENMAT 2016

The Indira Gandhi National Open University is the main authority to conduct the OPENMAT (OPEN Management Aptitude Test) for the admission to various PG degree and diploma courses in the field of management study. The OPENMAT is considered only for the admission to courses offered by the IGNOU only. The IGNOU OPENMAT 2016 will be notified in the year 2015. The application and examination held two times in a year.

Validity of OPENMAT Score – 2nd Sem. 2016 (July 2016), 1st Sem. 2017 (January 2017)

Eligibility Criteria

• There is no age bar for the said examination.
• The candidates should be a graduate/post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
• The candidates should have obtained the minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in graduation.
• The candidates should have a minimum of 3 years managerial or supervisory or professional experience.
• The candidates having professional degree with 50% in the field of Engineering or Medicine or CA or ICWA or CS or Law may also eligible to appear the examination.

Reservation

The university provides the seats reservation to the female candidates and the candidates belong to the reserved category like SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped as per the Govt. of India rule.

Application Form

The IGNOU OPENMAT application form 2016 can be obtained through the both; online and offline mode.
The application form for OPENMAT (XXXIX) for 2d semester of 2016 and 1st semester of 2017 has been issued by the IGNOU university. Candidates may download the application form.
The last date for applying for OPENMAT XXXIX is 15th December 2016.
The information bulletin for the year 2015-16 has been given in the bottom of this article.
The application form can be downloaded from the official website of the board and sent along with the DD of Rs. 1050/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi. The application form and prospectus can be obtained through the Main centre and the regional centres against the 1050/- as the application form fee via DD or Rs.1000/- as the cash at regional counter. The application form and prospectus will be released on the prescribed date which will be marked by the official site later.
