UPESEAT 2016, commonly known as University of Petroleum and Energy
Studies, Engineering aptitude Test is the entrance exam conducted by
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. The UPESEAT
exam is conducted every year by UPES for admission to their Undergrate
and Integrated PG engineering programmes. The UPESEAT exam is given by
thousands of students to get admission in top engineering courses
offered by the university. Here in this article we will provide you all
the details like UPESEAT application form, Exam pattern and eligibility
criteria of the exam.
In 2015, more than 30,000 students had appeared in UPESEAT examination for admission in 1600 seats offered by the university. The UPESEAT exam will be organized in all major cities of the country and the application process will start from December onwards.
The candidate who wish to apply offline, they have to purchase the application form from the various designated centres from Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai.
The candidates must be born on or after October 01, 1994 in order to appear for UPESEAT exam.
The candidate must note that there will be 200 multiple choice questions, the time duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
Application Form

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates appearing for UPESEAT exam must check the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:The candidates must be born on or after October 01, 1994 in order to appear for UPESEAT exam.
- The candidates must have passed/appearing in 10+2 with minimum 60% marks from a recognized board in order to appear for the exam.
- The Candidates must have scored an aggregate of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Admission by Board Merit
- Candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 80% marks.
- Candidates must have scored an aggregate of at least 80% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The candidates should have passed in 10+2 with 60% marks from a recognized board.
- Candidates should have scored an aggregate of at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Candidates rank in JEE Main 2016, will be taken into consideration.
